BAST FIBER

Our bast fiber products are manufactured from the harvested stalk of the kenaf plant where over thirty percent of the stalk's weight is natural bast fiber. Our kenaf bast fiber products are marketed to plastic composites manufacturers, erosion control product manufacturers, hydro mulch manufacturers, and concrete manufacturers. The automotive composites industry is a large user of our kenaf bast fiber. Our manufacturing partners provide companies like Chrysler and Daimler, their products made with our kenaf bast fiber. Those products include the interior doors of the Chrysler Sebring, Jeep Liberty, and parts for the Mercedes-Benz M-Class & C-Class. The parts are lighter and stronger providing weight reduction for better gas mileage. The kenaf bast fiber produced for the thermo-plastics industry is marketed under the name, ThermoBast^TM.

DRILLWALL^TM OIL DRILLING FLUID ADDITIVE

DRILLWALL^TM is made from natural kenaf bast fibers and kenaf core materials that are environmentally safe and will quickly circulate to form a low loss layer on the wellbore walls. The DrillWall-EXTRA^TMproduct is mixed with natural mineral and polymer materials to produce a superior drilling mud additive. The U.S. Navy in testing has determined that kenaf particles are the most absorbent natural materials on earth. This allows for quick mixing with most drilling muds whether water, oil or synthetic. DRILLWALL^TM provides better mud retention with less stops and less risk of lost circulation. Better drilling mud circulation means lower cost for the driller.

OIL SPILL AND CHEMICAL CLEAN UP PRODUCTS

BioTech Mills oil spill and chemical spill clean up products SpillSUCK^TM and SpillSOCK^TM are made from the kenaf plant core. These products are used to clean up oil and chemical spills wherever they occur. They also work in salt or in fresh water. The US Navy has found in testing that kenaf is the most absorbent natural material on earth. NAFCORE^TM HORSE BEDDING

"Nafcore" (TM) is the top premium horse bedding product. It is many times more absorbent than wood shavings. Our customers state that, Nafcore is less expensive than wood shavings in that it will last 3 times as long and lowers the overall time and cost of labor for cleaning stalls. Nafcore^TM is also a low dust product and is a non toxic natural product, making it the best bedding for horses with allergy problems. Many top shows, tracks and stables use this product. KENAF CORE POWDER PRODUCTS

The kenaf core makes up two thirds of the raw kenaf plant stalk. The kenaf core is reduced to a small particle size with a hammermill (see picture). One of our kenaf core products is called ThermoNaf^TM, and is sold to the thermoplastics industry. ThermoNaf^TM can be mixed with most types of plastic polymers to the specific requirements of the plastics manufacturer. There are a large number of plastic products made with kenaf core material as a key component. Our thermo plastics market has become explosive as the price of plastic has doubled or tripled making the plastics manufacturers look for replacement ingredients in their formulas that enhance their products, but lower costs.
